Hey everyone. I know that in Malaysia you guys are 5 hours ahead from here. Happy new year I wish to all students currently in Moscow, Nizhny and Volgograd and all countries that have the same time zone as ours.
2008 is full of memories, better sweet or bitter. The year where I got my Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia results, the long-don't-know-what-to-do break before the results, the moment I first step on a foreign country, meeting great people that I am suppose to know since kindegarten, experiencing a short but perhaps, the best months of studies I have ever had in Intec, mingling around with my family more than usual, and the list goes on and on. It will never stop if I were to list down everything.
The bitter memories, hurm, let me see..there are a few. Got sprained at my ankle twice in an interval of less than 3 months, being left out by someone whom I think "special" in my life, having a see-saw relationship with a friend of mine, a conflict on the eve of hari raya haji which I will never forget about it, and the incident at the bus stop in front of the sportszal (moscow fellas, I think you guys know about this). All these bitter memories make me think, am I being a good person throughout the year? A person who cares about the surrounding, the feelings oh his partners and mates? A person that can listen to everything and be cool with it? A person of which people are cool to be with? I don't know. Maybe I should ask myself, am I being good on everything? Take a mirror and everything will be reflected right on my face. And since the new year is here, there are some resolutions that I would like to make it realize. Last year's resolution was a disaster. I have accomplished only a few of hundreds of it. Till the end of year 2008, it is not yet completed. Carry it forward to 2009? Maybe I will, maybe not because I have a bunch of new ones right now. Doesn't reach 100 I guess.
Oh well. New year is already here and this is my first post of the year. People are celebrating it outside but we choose to stay indoors. Danger is waiting for us outside, who knows? Malang tidak berbau. Anything can happen anytime. We are being onthe safe side. Have a nice new year~

Semester ends, new year's coming and holiday is around the corner
My first semester over here in MMA is "technically" over. We will be having our bio-organic chemistry finals and then it will officially start. Yay! After 3 months of struggling to adapt to the new environment and style of study here in Russia, we have been given a well-deserved holiday to relax our mind. No more articulatio, no more musculus and no more incisurae. Not that I am going to forget anything. Just clear off all that during the holidays and refresh it back after it. Holidays are meant for excitement and joy! Travelling around the world (that is if you can, money will do the talking here) or stay at home and spend the time with your friends and family. explore what your place has to offer and do not waste any time doing nothing or staring at the classic-boring television. It is time to open up your mind and see the world! Even in 2 weeks we can do a lot of things, imagine one whole month. Moscow will be ours. Yeah!
Before the start of 1st January (i.e the New Year of 2009), our last match of futsal ended in a fashionable way. Even though we created a lot, I mean A LOT of chances, we managed to scrap our way through to victory of one to nothing. A good play we have shown, but obviously not good enough to beat the 69 Flyers in a larger margin. We could have done it, if its not for the carelessness of our strikers (Prem, Ming Kuang and Fuad). Open scoring chance, but the effort went fown the drain. What a shame! Nevertheless, our team won the semester ending game and I have nothing to complain about. Sorry that I do not have any picture of the game because I myself was busy blocking the balls and clearing it off the goal line.
And yeah, the new year of 2009 is coming and I am here to wish everybody a Happy New Year! с новым годом! Also Salam Maal Hijrah 1430! я желаю счастья вам в новым году! Pray to God that we will have a pleasant new year along side our comrades and every single person in our life. I wish all of you the best and hope that your new year's resolution will be realized. Make it a reality, not only imaginary. Be safe and careful during the holidays.

Cannot sit still
A night that cannot be forgotten at all. A morale behind this incident, think before, during and after you are doing or did something so that it will not turn out haywire. Just a short post. I just need to write to clear this off from my head. At least for one night.

something to be thought of...
I know that I am not so active blogging but this material i had to write is simply worth it. See around you and observe. Even though I am far away from my homeland this "thing" is still very obvious. Racism, racism, racism.
Being away made me think: are we really what we call Malaysian? Because I doubted it even when I was still in Malaysia. Everywhere I can see that people from the same race sometime despise other from different races. Our country has celebrated its independence for 56 years but this problem still arise. I am a Malay but, I will be neutral in this case. I cannot deny that even this problem occurs amongst us, the Malays. I do not know about other races but it is very obvious in the Malay community.
Here I would like to highlight some of the incidents that happen here that made me write this. In the lecture hall, where all the students from various places were here. I can see very clearly the partition in between people from different races and sometimes, religion. At the far end left and right corner is the Malay group, the middle front part is the Chinese and the middle back part is the Indians. This is just a part of it.
And now, this is an example of so-called racism amongst the same race. Come to think of it, how can this happen?
Simple. I have been living in this kind of environment since the day I am here. Students here are sponsored by different sponsors, including the ones sponsored by their parents :). And you know what? Sometimes we can feel the barrier in between us. The MARA sponsored student are with themselves and that goes to the JPA, private and also the Armed Forces scholar too. An incident happen today here at our hostel. Tomorrow is Hari Raya Qurban and we did some pot luck tonight with room number *** and $$$ (identity should be kept secret. Sorry! :)). There is also another group doing the same thing, but at a different place. Get what I mean? Hey we are all students from the same strana. Why can't we group together in one room, to enjoy some nice delicacies and chat with one another? I cannot see any problem here. Here is what I call "racism". The unity will soon break into pieces and the chance to put it back together is somehow IMPOSSIBLE. Or should I say that there was never anykind of unity among us?
I know that this is not something new and boring. People has been saying about this all the time but what have we done to erase this problem in our life? I don't know about anybody else, but some of us have tried hard to reduce this gap between us. Guess trying is not good enough eyh?
Well, that's is all for tonight. Seriously, I have not studied anything yet because of this problem. Sorry that I did not write this earlier. Bad news first, then only the good ones will appear, right?
Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all! Hope all your sacrifices were blessed by Allah Almighty.

my first ever post..weee~
Assalamualaikum from here!!
I'm fine thank you for those who would want to know about my health. It has been 3 weeks since I first came here in Moscow. When we first step out of the airport, we shiver like hell. Haha. Yela, baru first time kan pergi tempat sejuk. After that, everything is superb except for the whole tedious registration process. It has been done, but not yet complete. Next week we are having our test but we dont have any textbooks with us yet..and you know what, this is what they say :
"Next week you will get your student card" we need our student card to do the library card and get the books....
The weather is pretty nice here. It can be cold at times, but most of the time-for now-it is very comfortable. We dont sweat here even though we walk for 2 kilometres. Cool huh? Hehe. Waiting for winter to come, which will be very..I mean, VERY cold. Hurm, about my 2 weeks experience here? Lucky me that i have not been threatened, beaten or disturbed by any of the Russians yet. Hehe. Three weeks is nothing. 3 down and a few hundred more weeks to go i think.Haha..
And, of course, Selamat Hari Raya to everyone! Maaf zahir dan batin. If i did any wrong to you, please forgive me ok :). Hope it is not to late. About raya over here, it is awesome!! Haha. Even though we are away from family, raya with friends here was quite nice. We went to the embassy in the morning for sembahyang raya. Then went to Moslanka to settle our registration, but heck, i cannot be done yet. After that we went to the embassy again in the afternoon. Around 5 i think. We ate a great amount of food of course! Free food maa. Who can resist it? :). Here is some pictures of us at the embassy..

Me not in my baju raya because my bag just arrive at the embassy!!
Then comes the best part of our first raya. We tried to take the bus straight from the embassy to the nearest metro station to our hostel. Nak saving duit punya pasal. Then the bus suddenly stop in the middle of the route and ask us to get down of it! Maaannnnn. We get out of it, and start to walk to the metro station we want to go to, which is 2 kilometres away!!!! It is at night by the way. Around 9 i think. But then walking with company of my friends made it an enjoyable first experience of walking at night in Moscow :)
Ok. Enough of raya. Our class starts right after the first day of raya (2nd raya).weeeeeee...
I was SO "happy".
I was SO "happy".
The first lecture was pretty interesting as we have learnt it in Intec previously. But gradually, it becomes more confusing. The best part of all lectures and classes is the journey heading to it. We need to leave the hostel around 2 hours before the class started!! The place is at the last station of the metro whereas we are staying at the first one (this is an exaggeration, but it seems to be like that la, but it is really far ok) :) Oh ya, i really like anatomy! We get to hold the real thing..not the plastics :)
Raya done. Now i would like to show off one of our cooking which I think is the best among all. It taste REALLY good ok. And i mean it. Hehe
Chicken curry and fried cabbage beside it..haha
Hurm I think that is it from me now. Hey this is my first post so do comment on any mistakes whatsoever. Haha. Positive comments are most welcome. Tata ~back to my books~ :)
